Adam is a 3D Measurement Solutions expert for the land surveying, construction, industrial, and civil engineering markets. For the past 30+ years Adam has specialized in providing measuring and mapping solutions to land surveyors who are looking for cost effective and innovative ways to solve today’s complex project needs. He focuses on applications which utilize high accuracy GPS, total stations, 3D laser scanning, and UAV solutions.

Technical Sales position – Surveying and Construction Instruments and Supplies Hayes Instrument Co. has been serving the surveying, engineering, and construction industry in the southeast for over 35 years. We are a factory authorized distributor and service center for Topcon and Sokkia instruments and accessories. In addition to surveying instrument sales, Hayes has an online e-commerce website at Hayesinstrument.com. We are looking to add a new full time inside salesperson to our staff of technical sales professionals immediately due to growth. Job position – Survey Technical Sales & Support

Take inbound calls as well as actively prospect to existing and new potential customers. Provide inside technical sales of surveying instruments and accessories. Provide technical support to existing customers. Develop new sales and clients via telephone, webinars, and email. In house technical and sales training will be provided. Periodic travel will be required but minimal. Salaried position commensurate with past performance and experience. Base Salary plus commission plan based upon sales, 401K plan, health insurance, PTO, Life Insurance, and profit-sharing pension plan.

Skills for success

Positive attitude and a strong desire to sell and succeed in a team environment. Knowledge of land surveying, civil engineering, or construction surveying a plus, but not required. Proven Phone Sales experience Ability to learn technical content, products, and software. Strong technical aptitude with a focus on problem-solving skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Strong computer, CAD, and Microsoft Office skills. Demonstrated ability to learn and work independently.
